M S Prakash takes charge as new Circle Police Inspector of Bhatkal, will take over investigation of Affan Jabali murder case

Bhatkal: Inspector M S Prakash on Monday took charge as the new Circle Police Inspector (CPI) of Bhatkal the post which was ‘vacant’ for last few weeks according to the official website of Uttara Kannada Police. Prakash was the serving as the CPI of Bantwal before taking charge as the CPI of Bhatkal on Monday. Prakash will now take over the investigations of brutal murder case local youth Affan Jabali who was murdered on Friday night at a private hotel room in town. He will investigate the case under supervision of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Bhatkal sub-division Nikhil B. Speaking to reporters after taking charge, Prakash added that he has formed a team to thoroughly investigate the case.
