Lost mobile phone traced through CEIR Portal, returned to owner in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: A mobile phone reported lost under the limits of Bhatkal Rural Police Station has been successfully traced through the CEIR portal and returned to its rightful owner.

According to a post shared on X by Uttara Kannada Superintendent of Police Deepan MN, the device was tracked using the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal and handed back to the owner after necessary verification.

The owner has expressed appreciation to the police department for their prompt action in tracing and returning the mobile phone.
