Lorry accident in Kalaburagi, 8 died, 14 injured

Dattatreya devotees from Maharashtra were on a visit to a Dattatreya shrine, when their vehicle collided with a lorry, killing eight members on the spot. The eight dead are identified as members of the Ingale family from Panchamahal village in Maharashtra.
The cruiser, carrying at least 17 persons, hit a lorry near Dogi channel at Alanda in Kalaburagi taluk, killing eight including four women and two children.
The accident has left nine people severely injured.
The cruiser was taking the devotees to the Danagapur Dattatreya shrine in Afzalpur, Kalaburagi. The injured are being treated in the Kalaburagi district hospital.
