Lok Sabha Internship 2018: Apply now at sri.nic.in to earn upto Rs 20,000 per month

The Speaker's Research Initiative (SRI), Parliament of India has released an official notification inviting candidates for Lok Sabha Internship programme 2018. The last date of applying for Lok Sabha Internship 2018 is May 4, 2018, by 5 pm.
"Applications are invited in the prescribed format for 50 Internship Positions for duration of three months and 50 Internship Positions for a duration of one-month in the Lok Sabha Secretariat," read official notice.
"The Internship Programme is aimed to provide an opportunity to young talent in the country with outstanding academic credentials for acquainting themselves with the working of parliamentary democracy through Parliamentary Internship and to train them to contribute towards a generation of research inputs for reference/use of Hon'ble Members of Parliament. This Internship would expose the selected Interns to the constitutional and legal provisions with respect to the working of parliament and while contributing to the research inputs, they shall gain valuable experience of parliamentary democracy at work."

- On the homepage, click on 'Online Applications for the Lok Sabha Internship Programme 2018'
- If you haven't registered then make your account by entering all the required information
- Enter your email id/mobile number, password and characters in the picture given
- Click on 'Login'
- Complete the application form in the prescribed format
- Click to submit
- All the candidates interested in applying need to be Pursuing graduation/post-graduation in social sciences, science, languages, environmental studies, law, journalism, finance, management, etc from a recognised university or institute
- A 'Recommendation Letter' from the Principal or Head of Departments of an institute or college.
- 250 words brief statement.
- Interested candidates need to possess a Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline from a recognised university or institute
- Also, the candidate should be pursuing doctoral study

- Moreover, candidates should hold an outstanding academic record in disciplines such as social sciences, science, languages, environmental studies, law, journalism, finance, management, etc.

- One-month internship: Stipend payable Rs 20,000 per month and Rs 5,000 for stationery and typing expenses for three months Internship
- Three-month internship: Stipend payable Rs 20,000 per month and Rs 10,000 for stationery and typing expenses for three months Internship.
