Locals along with policemen injured in a clash between RSS and DYFI workers

Kerala 27 Feb 2018: Many Policemen along with the local public were injured in a clash that took place between the workers of RSS and DYFI in a rally by RSS at Kumbla, located at the distance of 12 km from Kasargod of Kerala.
RSS workers had conducted a rally against the destruction of flag and decorations of B.M.S. district convention by offenders. The rally begun at Bambrana but as it reached Arikkadi Kunnil it took an ugly turn of clashes between DYFI and RSS.
Police rushed to the spot upon the information and tried to handle the situation. Police used lathi charge and disposed tear gas to disperse the crowd. Upon this, few rioters threw back soda bottles at them.
Due to the incident, SI Jayashankar, Additional SI Shivdasan, Policeman Vipin sustained injuries and are being treated at the hospital.
In relation to the untoward incident, Police have arrested RSS Worker Bambran Ramachandra, Rajesh and Jayaprakash along with the DYFI workers Abdul Azeez and Yusuf.
