image2pngTensions between India and Pakistan are showing no signs of abating, despite statements by both sides that the recent tensions caused by the brutal killing of two Indian soldiers should not get in the way of improving bilateral relations. Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said she hoped that the ceasefire violations along the Line of Control would not be a setback to or derail the peace process with India. Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said that the Indo-Pakistan visa agreement will not be affected. The diplomatic speak has not however, calmed tensions.
