Little response to Bharat Bandh in Bhatkal; Normal life unaffected

Bhatkal: 20 Sep 2012: The nation-wide bandh called by the BJP-led NDA and other opposition parties to protest fuel hike andFDI in retailevoked little response in Bhatkal. Except few schools, most of the shops and business establishments remained open and the traffic was also unaffected. Only the govt and private buses were off the roads. Fish market, vegetable and flower shops were doing business as usual and the Auto rickshaw and othervehicularmovement were also not affected by the bandh call.
