Lions club celebrates 10 years of establishment in Murdeshwar

Murdeshwar 17 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) On the tenth-year anniversary of Lions club of Murdeshwar, the district Governor of the club MJF Lion Monika P. Savanth inaugurated the program here at a private hotel of Murdeshwar on Sunday. Addressing the program District Governor Monika said, “The lions club of Murdeshwar is actively participating in social activities, including taking part in cleaning drive, providing financial support to needy, helping students by providing various facilities and has been recognized as the best club of Uttara Kannada district". An eye test camp at Murdeshwar was also organised prior to the inauguration of the event, and the Governor also visited Sneha Special School in Bhatkal and distributed carom board, balls, ration and other things to the specially-abled students. During the occasion the club also felicitated Miss. Vasudha Rao d/o Thilak Rao of Murdeshwar for emerging as the Runner-up of Miss Mangalore. On this occasion, Subbaraya Naik, Shridhar Hebbar, Timmappa Naik, Prashant Sawant, Manjunath Naik and others were present. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/Rizwan Gangavalli)
