Lion Sports Center organizes 'Islah Muashira' program

Bhatkal - 03 Feb, 2011: Bhatkal's renowned Sports and Welfare Organization, LION, yesterday organized a spectacular 'Islah Muashira' program here at Burni Grounds after Isha prayers. The program was begun with the Qir'at of Mohammed Anzer Gawai followed by Naat and Inaugural speech by Mohammed Rizwan Kundanguda and Moulvi Shamvil Motia respectively.

On this occasion Lion Sports Centre felicitated Moulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi in recognition of his distinguished services to the community and presented him Sipasnama, Shawl, Memento and a Laptop computer.

Later eminent ulemas including Moulana Mohammed Sadiq Akrami, Moulana Ilyas Nadvi, Moulana Khwaja Madani, Moulana Abdul Azeem Kazia, Moulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi, Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi, Moulana Iqbal Mulla Nadvi, Moulana Ansar Madani and several others addressed the gathering. All speakers were very much concerned about several evils in the society and stressed the need to eliminate those things.

The program was concluded at around midnight with the dua of Moulana Abdul Rab Nadvi.
