Life guards saves two more lives at Murdeshwar beach

Bhatkal 27 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Life guards at Murdeshwar beach on Saturday saved two more lives of tourists who were washed away into the sea here on Saturday afternoon. The victims have been identified as Chennabasava (32) and Shanappa (23) of Kalaghati. It is reported that, a group of eight people from Kalaghati had visited Murdeshwar for picnicking. However, as two among them were washed away while swimming in the sea, life guards swung into the action and rescued them both. Under the direction of beach supervisor Narashima Moger, life guards including Chandra Shekhar Harikanth and Jayaram Harikanth were involved in the rescue operation. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
