Life guards at Murdeshwar beach rescues another drowning tourist

Bhatkal 29 July 2019: Life guards at Murdeshwar beach on Sunday rescued yet another swimmer who was drowning after a high tide washed him away. The victim has been identified as Sagar Yadal (24), a resident of Bidar and an employee at Manapuram Gold Loan services. On Sunday, a group of 20 employees of Manapuram Gold Loan services had come to Murdeshwar for picnicking. Among them 5 men stepped into the water for swimming. A high tide then washed away, Sagar got washed away who started drowning. Noticing him battling the waters to make his way to the shores, life guards at beach swung into action and rescued him. He was then handed over to Murdeshwar police where he was later set free after completing some formalities. Life guards including Chandrashekhar Devadiga, Chandrashekhar Harikant and Shashidar Naik were part of the rescue operation.
