'Leave India, go to Pakistan': Anil Vij reacts to Mehbooba Mufti's warning to Centre over J&K

Chandigarh: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Sunday attacked former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti over her remarks demanding restoration of J&K special status which was revoked in 2019. Taking to Twitter, the Haryana Home Minister lashed out at the PDP chief saying that if she has so much love for Pakistan, she can go there. "Mehbooba Mufti you do not even know that America was sitting in another country, Afghanistan, we are sitting in our country, no one can even think of removing us from here. If you have so much love for Pakistan, then go there, the happiness you are enjoying here is far away there," Vij said in a tweet (roughly translated from Hindi. "America, a superpower, had to pack their bags and flee. You (the Centre) still have the opportunity to start a dialogue process in J-K like (former PM) Vajpayee had and mend your mistake of snatching the J-K's identity illegally and unconstitutionally and splitting of J-K, otherwise, it will be too late, she had said while referring to the decisions of August 5, 2019. 'Govt has Talibanised NIA, ED'

Earlier on Wednesday, Mufti had lashed out at the central government over repeated summons to her mother by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case, likening the Centre with the Talibanis. “In New India being summoned by agencies like NIA and ED has become a ritual for whoever disagrees with GOIs divisive agenda & policies. In my mother’s case, the chronology is quite clear. The last time she received a summon was when PDP boycotted the Delimitation Commission followed by another summon when I staged a peaceful protest on 5th August criticising the illegal abrogation of Article 370,” she had tweeted.
