LEAD Talent Search Exam - 2014

LTSE’ is an initiative specifically to help deserving students to get admissions into top degree colleges of India and serve as a gateway to students for PU colleges. LEAD trust is providing needy & deserving students with scholarships to meet expenses relating to training, coaching, guidance, books, study materials, etc. for 2 years, during which they are preparing for PUC, IIT-JEE and other competitive exams including Olympiads. Economically deserving students are also getting support for boarding and lodging.

Selection Process for LTSE – 2014

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

All students who are Indian Citizens and are completing the SSLC/ 10th Std examination by 2014 are eligible to give the test. Their cumulative score in 9th Std must be more than 70%. An exam fee of Rs 30/-will be charged per student. Eligible students will be selected based on 3 criteria: (1). Academic performance -SSLC/ 10th Std and 9th Std (2). Performance in LTSE Entrance test (3). Interview

Registration and Submission of Application forms

Students can register through the link available on the website www.leadtrust.in. Students can directly submit the application form to the coordinator of their centre. Applications will be available on the website www.leadtrust.in or from the coordinators. Filled in applications must be given to the co-ordinator preferably before 5th April 2014 along with exam fee Rs.30/. Applications will be accepted till half an hour before exams.

Written Entrance Examination – LTSE 2014

Written Examination will be held on 13th April 2014 at 9.30 am. For details of test centre location, co-ordinator name & contact, test centre address of LTSE exam, please visit www.leadtrust.in. LTSE will be for 2-3 hours covering following topics depending on the stream chosen by the student A). Engineering: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning. (B). Medicine: Physics, Chemistry and Biology A student will have to give entrance for any one stream only which will need to be mentioned in the application form. The topics will be from their 10th Std syllabus, General Knowledge and Aptitude. Sample questions have been made available on www.leadtrust.in & students are requested to go through them priorto submitting the application form.

Short listing of candidates based on LTSE written exam and SSLC /SSC/CBSE/ICSE/X Std results

Students who obtain a score above a defined percentile will be short listed for the interview by an expert panel and by the partner colleges. The interview call / letter will be intimated through phone call and published on the LEAD website.

Final Interview and selection

Selection Interviews will be held in specified locations in April / May 2014. Shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding date, time & location. All candidates called for interview must provide relevant documents for verification. Selected candidates should furnish an undertaking to strictly abide by norms laid down by LEAD Trust.
