Last chance to apply for pre-matric, post matric minority scholarships; date extended till October 31

Bhatkal 22 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) "The last date to apply for Pre-matric and post-matric scholarships for minority students has been extended till October 31, which was earlier set at September 30" Bhatkal Minority Directorate Officer Shamsuddin told Bhatkallys.com The scholarships eligibility conditions call for applications from the students who have scored not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination (Not applicable for students studying in 1st standard in pre-matric scholarships) while the annual income of the students’ parents/ guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs. 1 lac. Students of Karnataka domicile studying in other states are also eligible to apply for the scholarships in Karnataka while students of other states studying in Karnataka are not eligible to apply from Karnataka. A bank account with nationalized bank (On the students’ name) with Aadhar number linked is also mandatory, and the students/schools will have to apply for the scholarships online as no other mode of application will be accepted. “People can apply by simply visiting the online portal http://scholarships.gov.in from they can click on New Registration tab and follow the instructions to apply” Shamsuddin added.
