Lankesh murder case: SIT arrests two right-wing activists in Udupi

Udupi: Sleuths of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Thursday, August 9, arrested two persons from Udupi in connection with the murder of activist journalist Gauri Lankesh. Reports said that the accused Sandesh Shetty Padebettu (28) and Yuvaraj Kanchinadka (30) were taken into custody by the SIT from their homes with the help of the local police. Sources said that both the accused are members of Hindu Jagarana Vedike. Sandesh and Yuvaraj are believed to be in contact with other accused who have been arrested in the case. They have been taken to Bengaluru for further investigations, sources said. Source: News Karnataka
