"Landlords who lost their lands due to land acquisation act can submit applications within 15 days to claim compensation" Bhatkal Tahsildar VN Bhatkar

Bhatkal 17 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Tashildar on Tuesday issued a notice regarding the compensating the acquisition land of the revenue department. According to the notice Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner's office has instructed the Tahsildar to compensate the landlords who lost their lands as per the Land acquisition act of 1961 under sec 48 and 66. The compensation will be made as per section 47 and 73. However, the Tashildar has also directed landlords to submit an application along with the valid ownership document of the lost land to his office within 15 days of the notice which was dated 17 July 2018, failing which the landlords will not be compensated anytime later and the compensation amount will be blocked by the government.
