Labbaik Nawayat organizes rally to create awareness on road accidents

May 14, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a bid to increase road safety awareness to curb road accidents, Bhatkal's renowned sports center Labbaik Nawayat Association organized a public rally. The rally originated from Anjuman Ground and passing through Main Road, Shamsuddin Circle, concluded at the origin. Addressing the media persons at the occasion, the association's President Maulana Azeezur Rehman Ruknuddin said that accidents in Bhatkal are taking place quite frequently. Driving at high speeds, usage of mobile phones while driving, triple-seat driving, under age driving have all become very common occurrences here in Bhatkal, he added. These lapses are the main causes of accidents and this further multiplies the sufferings of victims and their family members, he opined.   - ARF
