Kundapur: SP Patil organizes peace meeting ahead of Kodi Habba and Eid Milad

Zaorez Shabab Kundapur 30 Nov 2017: Kundapur Police on Wednesday organized a peace meeting in presence of SP Dr Sanjeev M Patil and other religious leaders at Kundapur Police Station in the wake of Kodi Habba and Eid Milad festivals. SP Patil while addressing the meeting urged people to co-operate with the police department and help in maintaining law and order situation in Kundapur. He further urged people to co-operate with the people of other communities as well and asked them to let the other communities celebrate their respective festivals peacefully. While also calling for avoiding bike rallies in the city during the festivals as it causes inconvenience to the local public, and approved the requests of processions. Religious leaders and head of math and mosques, explained the rituals of the festival and how it will be carried out. Several other issues were raised during the meeting, such as traffic congestion in the city and the growing cases of drug peddling among others. SP Patil assured the locals about taking action against all the issues soon.
