Kundapur: Protesters demands re-investigations in Paresh Mesta's forensic report

Kundapur 19 Dec 2017: Kharvi Konkan Community along with other Hindu organizations protested against the alleged murder of 18 years old Paresh Mesta in Honnavar earlier this month.
The protesters submitted an memorandum to the Kundapur Tahsildar GM Borkar, who assured the protesters of submitting the memorandum to the government through the Deputy Commissioner.
The Kharvi community demanded compensation for the family of Paresh Mesta, while also batting for the re-investigation of the forensic report of Paresh's body which eliminated the angle of Murder and called it a natural death. The memorandum demanded further research by expert's team as they expressed their suspicion on the current report.
Hundreds of protesters silently marched from Mahakali Temple to Kundapur Shastri Circle and then to Kundapur divisional office where they submitted the memorandum.
Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Patil was present personally monitoring the protest rally, and later had words of praise for the protesters for organizing the protest in a peaceful manner.
