Kundapur: Man arrested for raping minor Dalit girl

Kundapur: Kota Police arrested a 33-year-old man accused of raping a minor Dalit girl under the POSCO Act. The accused, identified as Ashok Poojary has a criminal background. He was produced before the court today (November 19) which remanded him to judicial custody. As per the complaint lodged by the victim, Ashok lured her and took her to an isolated spot at Moodadu, in his car, and raped her. She even alleged that two other persons were present with Ashok when the incident took place. Source: Udayavani
