Kundapur: Biker dies of injuries after tree falls onto him due to heavy rain

Kundapur 13 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A 27-year-old man was killed after a tree fell over the two-wheeler in which he was riding here at Vakwadi of Kundapur on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi Devadiga (27), resident of Kundapur and a Mason by Profession.

The incident took place when Ravi after his daily work was returning to his home around 11:00 pm at night, when heavy rain accompanied by strong wind made the tree nearby the roadside fell over his bike while riding, resulting in his death on the spot.

The locals who noticed Ravi’s body on Saturday morning informed the police and later the body was shifted to government hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered at Kundapur Police station
