Kumta: Six of a family critical after their car collides with truck

Kumta 29 March 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau)Six people of a family were critically injured after the Omni car in which they were travelling in, collided with oncoming tipper lorry here at Devimanegatta region of Kumta Taluka on Thursday. The injured have been identified as Ashok, Kanchana, Renuka, Mahesh, Shutri and Anil, all resident of Devaliwad of Taluka. The incident occurred, when Omni car that was heading towards Kumta from Sirsi rammed into a tipper lorry that was coming from opposite direction. The injured were soon rushed to a private hospital at Udupi after providing first-aid at Kumta Government Hospital. A case was registered at Kumta police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
