Kumta lorry owners union demand no toll charges for lorries with KA 47 number plates, submits memorandum to Assistant Commissioner

Kumta: December 14, 20 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Kumta truck owners have handed over a memorandum to Assistant Commissioner M Ajit and demanded not to charge toll on vehicles with KA-47 number plates.

The memorandum said that prior to this, a memorandum had been issued by several organizations to the IRB and the National Highways Authority to not charge toll to vehicles with KA-47 number plates, but it did not have any effect. Accepting the memorandum from lorry owners, the Assistant Commissioner has assured action in this matter.
