Kumta: Body of the boy who went missing on Saturday found in a lake

Kumta 11 June 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The body of a kid who went missing on Saturday 09 June afternoon was found in a small lake at Hegde village of Kumta Taluk here on Monday 11 June 2018. The deceased has been identified as Gowrish Ganesh Mukri. Gowrish after finishing his school hours on Saturday went out to play along with his friends but didn’t return back to home. The family along with the villagers searched for Gowrish, but couldn't trace him. Sources added that the boy went into the lake along with his friends to get the shells but unfortunately slipped into the waters and drowned his friends out of fear did not inform about the incident to anyone. However, on Monday morning the body of the boy was found floating in the lake of Hegde village. The body was later shifted to the Government hospital of Kumta for post Mortem.
