Kumta: 70 year old dies after falling from coconut tree

Kumta 17 April 2018 (Bhatkallys News Bureau): Hours after falling down from a coconut tree on Monday morning, a 70-year-old man breathed his last at the Taluka hospital of Kumta in the early hours of afternoon of the same day.
The deceased has been identified as Narashima Madival(70), a resident of Nagoor of Kumta.
On Monday morning, Narashima had climbed the coconut tree at his garden of Nagoor, where he accidentally slipped from the coconut tree sustaining severe head injuries.
The victim was soon rushed to the taluka government hospital of Kumta, but unfortunately breathed his last around 12:00 pm on the same day.
A case has been registered at Kumta police station.
