Kumta: 15-year old killed in a road accident after his bike collides with truck

Kumta 24 March 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A 15-year-old youngster died in a road accident between his bike and truck on National Highway-66 near Mirjan of Kumta here on Saturday 23, March. The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Jameer P (15), a resident of Mirjan. The incident occurred when a truck heading towards Hubbali from Mangaluru, collided with a bike that came from the opposite direction. Mohammed sustained severe injuries in the incident and was rushed to a private hospital at Udupi for treatment. However, as he couldn't respond to the treatment there, he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered at Kumta Police Station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
