KSRTC announces special bus services on Ramzan

The Karnataka State Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will introduce special holiday bus services for Ramzan, from August 8 to August 11.
As part of this commitment, the KSRTC intends to incorporate 300 to 350 extra buses which will operate on the following routes:
The special buses from Kempegowda Bus Station will proceed to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shimoga, Hassan, Mangalore, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Bijapur, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Gulbarga, Bellary, Koppala, Yadgir, Bidar, and Tirupati.
Special buses from Mysore Road bus station will operate exclusively to Mysore, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalanagar and Madikeri.
The buses will also operate from Jayanagar 4th Block, Navarang (Rajajinagar), Vijayanagara, Banashankari and head to Shimoga, Davangere, Tirupati, Mangalore, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Kukke Subramanya and Dharmasthala depending on the passenger inflow.
The passengers can avail premier bus service from Shanthinagar BMTC Bus Stand to proceed to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and prominent places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
Reservation
Passengers with advanced booking can board buses from Mysore Road bus station to North-West (Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Bijapur, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar) and North-East (Gulbarga, Bellary, Raichur, Hospet, Koppal, Yadgir, and Bidar).
Passengers can book their seats in the special buses through computerised reservation by logging onto: www.ksrtc.in. Tickets can also be booked through all KSRTC counters across Karnataka and neighbouring states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Puduchery, Maharashtra and Goa.
A discount of five percent can be availed for reservation of four or more passengers in a single ticket. A discount of 10 percent can also be obtained on the return journey if both the onward and return journey tickets are booked simultaneously.
