KPTCL approves 110 KV transmission line for Bhatkal

Bhatkal - 13 July 2011: Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has approved 110/11 KV transmission lines for HESCOM in Bhatkal. The decision was taken after conducting a survey and assessing the power consumption needs and public demand. This was announced by the KPTCL Engineer, Mr Siddaraju in a meeting with HESCOM officials here in Bhatkal. According to the sources, suitable land has been identified at Sagar Road near Kathri Cross and Rs 5 lakh have been allocated for this purpose.

It may be noted that, currently Bhatkal has 33/11 KV transmission lines.
