Konkan railway track reopened a month after mudslides

Karwar: September 17, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The Konkan Railway track, which collapsed due to a landslide in the Parnam area of Goa, has been reopened for trains a month later.
According to railway officials, the tunnel in the caravan zone of Konkan Railway had slipped on August 6, after which the route of 6 major trains on this route was changed while some trains were completely closed.
According to officials, the line has been closed for more than a month and repairs have been carried out. On September 15, a certificate of correctness and safety of the track has been issued. Since then, Hazrat Nizamuddin Special Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin Ernakulam Junction Duranto Express, New Delhi Thiruvananthapuram Central, Lok Mania Tilak Terminal Thiruvananthapuram Central Train has started running on this line again via Karwar, Andrapradesh and Mangalore.
