Katteveera Sports Club to host State Level Kabaddi Tournament on 4-5 Dec 2010

Bhatkal - Bhatkal's Katteveera Sports Club is all set to host a 2-day State Level Kabaddi Tournament on 4th & 5th December 2010 at the grounds opposite to TFC, NH 17 Bhatkal. This was announced by Mr Shivanand Naik, Ex-minister and President organizing committee at a press conference held here at IB.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Shivanand Naik said, 'Kabaddi is very polular game in India and it is played by peoples of all religion and faith. The main objectives of hosting this event is to promote peace and communal harmony and to bring all community people closer'. Some of the big teams from all over Karnataka will participate in this tournament. He added.

Organizing committee Vice-President, Mr. Inayatullah Shabandri while addressing the press conference said, 'Bhatkal has successfully hosted similar kind of State Level Tournament before under Assadullah Sports Club with the active participation of People and all sports clubs of Bhatkal'. He also appealed through media to all the concerned entities of Bhatkal to give their full support and make the tournament a grand success.

On this occasion apart from above mentioned, BJP leader Mr Krishna Naik, Mr Prameshwar Devadiga, Mr Venkatesh Naik, Moulvi Azeezur Rahman, Mr Abu Faisal and others were present.
