Katteveera Bhatkal lifts Labbaik Trophy

Bhatkal - 05 Dec 2011: In a one sided match, Katteveera Bhatkal overpowered host Labbaik Nawayath by 15 points in the final of District Level Kabaddi Tournament which was being played here at Anjuman High School Grounds, Bhatkal. Katteveera's Nagraj Naik demonstrated his excellent skills in both riding and catching. He was adjudged 'Best All-rounder' of the tournament.

In semi-finals, all four teams were from Bhatkal. Labbaik defeated Parshuram while Katteveera emerged victorious against Cosmos.

The winners, Katteveerareceived Trophy and a cash reward of Rs 25,000/ while the runner-up Labbaik Nawayat got Rs 15,000 and a trophy.

On this occasion Bhatkal DySP Mr M Narayan, TMC President Mr Inayatullah Shabandri and others were present on the stage.
