Kasargod: Twelve year old girl killed after her dupatta caught in the rear wheel of the bike

Bhatkallys News Bureau// Wafa Kifa Kasargod 25 March 2018: A 12yr-old girl died in a tragic incident when a part of her dress stucked between the wheel of motorcycle she was riding on. The accident took place at Kinanoor-Karindala area in Kasargod on Sunday, March 25. The deceased has been identified as Maria D/o Saji, a resident of Birikulam and a student of seventh standard at Parappa Government Higher Secondary School. The accident took place when Maria was on her way to Birikulam Church for Palm Sunday Mass, along with her parents. She was sitting in between her father and mother when suddenly,her shawl (dupatta) came under the wheels of bike and she was thrown away on the road causing critical injuries. She was soon rushed to the hospital but couldn't Survive and breathed her last in the hospital. After postmortem at district hospital, body was handed over to the family. A case has been registered at Neeleshwar Police Station.
