Karwar: Man killed in a road mishap; hit and run suspected

Karwar 24 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A man died on the spot in a road mishap at Mudaga village of Karwar Taluka here on Monday, September 24. The deceased has been identified as Guruprasad Naik(32), a resident of Taduru village of Karwar. As per sources, Guruprasad who was working in a private school of Yellapur, was found lying on the road with severe head injuries. Alerted police personnel rushed to the spot and conducted the initial investigation. The incident has been suspected of a ‘Hit and Run’ case. However, the exact cause is yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered at Karwar Rural Police Station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
