Karwar: INS Kadamba naval base on high alert post surgical strike

Karwar: High alert has been declared in INS Kadamba Naval Base here, following the Surgical Strike 2.0 carried out by the Indian Air force on February 26, deep inside Pakistan territory.
As per sources State-I alert has been announced at the naval base that is located at Araga and security has been stepped up around the naval base, which fleet kept ready. However, the same has not been confirmed by the Naval officials.
The air strike carried out on Tuesday, February 26 is said to be the biggest and boldest retaliation against terror attacks in Indian history. It was executed as an answer to the February 14 Pulwama attack by terror outfit Jaish-E-Mohommad. The ghastly Pulwama attack claimed scores of lives of CRPF trooper after a suicide bomber affiliated to the terror organisation rammed an IED laden car into the CRPF vehicles.
