LAUDS SIDDARAMAIAH AS "GOOD POLITICIAN"

Bengaluru: Senior BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal on Friday said “loafers” in his party were involved in making CDs, referring to the CD scandals that recently shocked Karnataka’s political circles. Speaking to reporters in the city on Friday, he said the politics in Karnataka has become dirty and it was unfortunate that parties were encouraging leaders with backgrounds in mining, real estate, and caste-based politics. “The culture of making CDs has emerged in Karnataka’s politics. It is not just limited to Congress, but loafers of BJP are also involved in this. A team is based in Bengaluru only to do such unethical jobs for politicians,” he said. “Karnataka has also seen sophisticated politics. SM Krishna, KS Nijalingappa, and Siddaramaiah are very good politicians. But due to the actions of a few, the politics here has become dirty. The blackmail politics has now emerged here,” he added. “Like former minister Ramesh Jarakiholi said, there is a single team behind the CD scam and contractor Santosh Patil’s suicide. Only one person is leading it. His name should be revealed,” he further added. (Source: Vartha Bharati)
