Karnataka NRIs call for more support from government

Bhatkallys News Service Dubai, 5 February (Bhatkallys News) - Calling on government officials to work towards welfare of NRI's settled in Gulf countries, a high level meeting discussed ideas and proposals. Dr Arathi Krishna, Deputy Chairman, NRI Forum of Karnataka attended the event and interacted with guests. Speaking at the event, SM Syed Khalil said, "There are many pressing issues which need the attention of the Karnataka Government and we actively seek the support of the NRI forum in addressing some of the concerns raised by the community. Dr Arathi said, "We are aware of the difficulties faced by Kannadigas and the government has created an NRI policy to address these concerns. There are gaps in identifying issues and our efforts are geared towards inclusive growth with adequate representation for every NRI."
