Karnataka Health Minister confirms third Omicron variant case in Karnataka

Bengaluru: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Karnataka Health Minister Dr. Sudhakar on Sunday afternoon confirmed that the third case of COVID-19's Omicron variant was detected in the state.
The Minister took to his twitter handle to break the news adding that a 34-year-old man returning from South Africa had tested positive for the Omicron variant. He further added that a total of 20 primary and secondary contacts of the patient were traced and their samples were sent for testing.
"He is isolated and is being treated at a govt hospital," the minister added in the tweet.
