- Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Commissioner said that the Covid-19 cases are under control in the state.
The new guideline makes it mandatory for travellers to submit a self-declaration form regarding the authenticity of the Covid negative report on the online portal ‘Air Suvidha’ before the scheduled travel, since a fake report will be liable for criminal prosecution.
Meanwhile, even as panic gripped many in Karnataka owing to the discovery of two cases of the AY 4.2 sub-lineage of the Delta variant of Covid-19 in Bengaluru, the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has dismissed rumours there could be another lockdown in the state.
