Karnataka Assembly election: PM Modi to address rally in Bengaluru on February 4

Now that Budget and Gujarat elections are done and dusted both national parties BJP and Congress have planned to concentrate big on Karnataka Assembly elections. BJP Karnataka has scheduled PM Modi's rally in Bengaluru on February 4th and expects around 4 lakh party workers to attend the event. PM Modi will be attending the closure of Parivartan Rally which started off in November 2017 where party chief BS Yeddyurappa visited all districts in the state. Meanwhile, Congress will have Rahul Gandhi in the state in the same week. On February 10, Rahul Gandhi will kick off Congress' campaign in Hospet town of Bellary district. Rahul be on a three days tour from February 10-12 to Hyderabad and Karnataka and will visit four districts - Bellary, Koppal, Gulbarga and Raichur. Over the next two months, both BJP and Congress will be brining in their heavy weights/star campaigners to Karnataka. Meanwhile, Election Commission hinted at a single-phase election as many parties have request for single day polling. Source: India Today
