Jukaku Shamshuddin's family to sponsor five scholarships for non-Muslim students in BE courses at AITM

Bhatkal 2 June 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal, as a part of its Centenary celebrations and as per its founding father’s vision of providing help to all sections of the society in pursuing quality education, has announced scholarships for the non-Muslim students seeking admission in BE courses at Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, Bhatkal for the year 2019-20.
The scholarship will be provided for all the four years of the course for the deserving candidates.
The five scholarships that will be provided under this program will be sponsored by the family of Late. Jukaku Shamshuddin and in memory of Jukaku Shamshuddin's wife Zubaida Shamshuddin.
The scholarships will be provided on merit basis among students who have passed PUC II Science or equivalent course with minimum pass percentage of 70% in Physics-Chemistry-Maths combination.
The eligibility to avail the scholarship also reads that the parental income of the student shall not exceed more than 2.5 lakh per annum.
The scholarship will be continued for the subsequent years of the engineering course, provided the student scores 7.5 SGPA in both the semesters of the previous academic year, without failing in any subject at the University examinations.
This Scholarship is in addition to the Scholarship of free tuition fees for all Engineering courses for all students who score more than 90% in PUC or qualifying examinations who take admission in AITM Bhatkal. Application should be submitted in plain paper with details of name, address, marks obtained in PUC, annual income of parents/guardian, with copy of marks card and admission details, if already admitted in AITM.
