Jilted lover put behind bars for harassing minor girl

Mysuru: A young man was arrested for harassing a minor girl and also severely injuring her in Mysuru. The arrested is Chandan (22), a resident of Udayagiri of Mysuru district. He was constantly harassing a tenth-grade student and was persuading her to get involved in a relationship with him. When the minor girl paid little attention to him, Chandan landed up in front of her house and created an embarrassing situation and forced her to marry him. When she refused, he pelted stones at her leaving the minor girl severely injured. Following the incident, the girl's family lodged a complain and the police nabbed the jilted lover. Chandan is currently under Police custody of Udayagiri police station. Source: News Karnataka
