JIH organizes seerat program in Kannada language

January 26, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In an effort to spread the message of Islam and remove misconceptions on it, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind's Bhatkal unit organized a grand Seerat-un-nabi (Biography of Prophet Muhammed, [PBUH]) program at Shams School Bhatkal which saw participation from large number of Muslims and as well as Non-muslims. On this occasion, JIH member and renowned Kannada orator Mohammed Kunhi shed light on the life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and mercy of almighty Allaah be upon him) which the audience, that included police officials as well, listened to with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Books in Kannada language were also distributed to the participants. Such kind of programs help to remove misconceptions on Islam and promote an atmosphere of brotherhood and peace. - ARF
