JIH Bhatkal organizes Panel discussion on the importance of 'Khidmat-e-Khulq'

Bhatkal 05 Nov 2017: Jamat-e-Islami Hind Bhatkal on Sunday organized a panel discussion on the importance of 'Khidmat-e-Khulq' (Humanitarian Service) at Dawat Centre.
The four panelist for the event were (Association for Protection of Civil Rights)APCR regional convener, Qamaruddin Mashaikh, Prominent Social worker Nazir Kashimji, Admin of 'We the Bhatkallys' social media groups Abdul Basit Ekkeri, and Asst. Qazi of Khalifa Jamatul Muslimeen Moulana Jafer Faqui Bhaw, while Moulana Syed Zubair SM coordinated the event.
Several issues were addressed and several ideas were exchanged between the panelists, who also shared their experiences from their years of presence in the field of Humanitarian and Social services.
Nazir Kashimji stressed upon working for establishment of Blood Bank in Bhatkal, as the availability of blood in accident cases is very critical and as recently the law has been amended people of Bhatkal and nearby localities have to rush either to Kundapur or Kumta to get the Blood both of which are at least an one hour journey.
Qamaruddin Mashaikh spoke about how there is a need for Humanitarian services at organizational level and why we should focus on Organizational Humanitarian services rather than individual services. He also recalled a incident when he was experimental along with the APCR team in Acquittal of a person who was falsely charged under terror acts and said it give him immense satisfaction to see the person out of the jail now living a free life.
Moulana Jafer Faqi Bhaw, urged people to unite, leaving all our personal differences aside and also explained the meaning and definition of Humanitarian Services. He argued for Individual services as against organizational services.
Abdul Basit Ekkeri, explained how he started a Facebook Page initially which has now turned into a social platform for his team to render services to the community and people who are in need, and said helping someone for their financial needs for educational purpose has been one of his greatest achievement and said he look forward to help such people in future as well.
The audience too were given an opportunity to interact with the panelists.
