Jelly fish sting tourists at Gokarna Beach

Gokarna 22 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Hundreds of people who were enjoying their weekend at the Kudle beach of Gokarna fell prey to the jelly fish's bites that had washed away to the shores along with tides here on Sunday. Despite warnings issued by the life guards at the beach, people here left for swimming into the waters. However, when the Jelly fish started to dunk their sting to the visitors, people started screaming out of pain and started to itch severely. The alert Tourism department, Police personnel along with the life guards here rushed to the spot and provided first aid treatment to the victims. Earlier in this month, a similar incident of Jelly fish washing ashore was reported but no injuries or harm were reported at the Tagore beach of Karwar.
