JEE Mains 2022 postponed due to date clash with board exams

JEE Mains 2022 postponed: The National Testing Agency(NTA) has postponed the schedule for the nationwide Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2022. The agency has postponed the examination in consideration of the representations received from students regarding the clashing of JEE Mains 2022 Session 1 with their board examinations. The JEE Mains 2022, which was earlier supposed to be held in the month of April 2022, has now been postponed to last till the month of May 2022.

JEE MAINS 2022 POSTPONED: REASON FOR POSTPONEMENT

The NTA has informed that the decision for JEE Main 2022 postponement has been taken in consideration of the representations by students on the exam date clashing with their board exams. "Meanwhile, representations are being received from the candidates seeking the change of dates of Session 1 of JEE (Main) - 2022 on account of the clashing of their Board Exam dates with the JEE (Main) - 2022 Session 1," the official release by the agency read. It added, "In view of the persistent demand from the student community and in their support, National Testing Agency has decided to reschedule the dates of JEE (Main) - 2022 Session 1."
