JD(S) worker Manjama to be new municipality chief of Bhatkal

Bhatkal: In an announcement made by the state government regarding the reservation for the post of municipality presidents, member of JD(S) and Tanzeem's recommended candidate Manjama Mangala is all set to become the new president of Bhatkal town municipality.
In Bhatkal, the post of president will be awarded to a candidate from one of the backward classes and the post of vice-president is open to all sections. In this regard, decision taken by Tanzeem will hold a lot of importance.
