JDS to announce candidate list for assembly polls on Saturday

Bhatkal – As the election date for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly polls coming closer, suspense over candidate list is growing with every passing day. Few parties have already announced their candidates in several places for the 5th May assembly polls, but there are still many constituencies where the names are yet to be announced. In Bhatkal, Tanzeem has taken a landmark decision this time to support Mr Inayatullah Shabandri as its candidate, who is a well-known personality in Bhatkal and his work is very well acknowledged by both Hindus and Muslims. Tanzeem took this decision unanimously in favour of Mr Inayatullah and also appealed people of Bhatkal to cast their valuable votes for him. But, after this announcement his political opponents have became active and started circulating rumours to malign his image. It is also learnt that, they are putting pressure on JDS high command not to give him ticket from Bhatkal constituency. On the other hand Mr Inayatullah is doing all his effort to get JDS ticket from Bhatkal assembly constituency. In this connection,  few days back JDS senior leaders have expressed complete faith in Inayatullah and gave a green signal on his nomination. After this assurance, it is strongly believed that he will get place in candidate list which will be announced on Saturday by JDS supremo at a press conference in Bangalore. Meanwhile Tanzeem has wished best of luck for Inayatullah and appealed people of Bhatkal to support his nomination and forget personal differences for the benefit of society.
