JDS confirms Inayatullah Shabandri as its candidate from Bhatkal

Bhatkal – Tanzeem nominated candidate from Bhatkal for the upcoming assembly polls, Mr Inayatullah Shabandri’s JDS ticket is almost confirmed after senior JDS leaders Mr H D Kumaraswamy and Dr Zameer Ahmed Khan gave green signal to his nomination. According to the sources, Tanzeem delegates have recently met with the top JDS leaders in Bangalore and a consensus on Inayatullah’s nomination was made in the meeting. It is also learnt that the  JDS has confirmed  Tanzeem delegates about Inayatullah's nomination and said the official announcement will be made on 21st March at a press conference  in Bangalore. It may be noted that, a rumor was circulating in the Bhatkal  political circles since from few weeks about BJP leader who recently resigned from the party is joining JDS and he is the favorite to get JDS ticket from Bhatkal.
