JCI felicitates servicemen of several departments of Bhatkal

Bhatkal 12 September 2018: “JCI has lately involved itself into social service and is working like local government bodies which is proving to be helpful for local governments" Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Sajid Ahmed Mulla said. He was speaking at an event organised by JCI Bhatkal unit to felicitate servicemen of various government departments at the New English School's auditorium on Sunday. Sajid Mulla inaugurated the event named 'Saptah' organised by JCI Bhatkal unit and said “The JCI unit has earned itself a reputation with in a short span of time in town by involving itself in various social activities.” The event was presided By JCI president K Jabbar Sab, while Advocate ASN Hebbar of Kundapur was the chief guest. Health department official Eerayya Devadiga, Fire brigade personnel Nazeer Ahmed Attar and others were honoured during the event. A dance competition was also organized during the event while the ‘Mooru Muttu’ drama team entertained the audience with their comedy drama. DySP of Bhatkal Valentine D’souza, JCI division-15 Vice-President Ragavendra Prabhu Karaval, JCI Secretary Ramesh Kharvi, JC Sandya, Nagaraj Shet and others were present during the event.
