JCI, Bhatkal Police organises Integrity Cricket Cup 2018

Bhatkal 7 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bhatkal unit on Sunday organised another cricket tournament Integrity Cup 2018 in association with Bhatkal Police department here at Police parade ground near Sagar road of Bhatkal.
About six teams participated in the tournament which included Bhatkal police team, Bhatkal Media Team, TMC President XI (Sadiq Matta), JD(s) President XI (Inayatullah Shabandari), DP colony along with organisers JCI Bhatkal unit.
The JCI Bhatkal unit and JD(s) marched into the finals after knocking out all the other teams during their respective matches.
During the final match, JCI riding upon some fierce batting performances scored 110 run in their quota of eight overs, setting a target of 111 runs for JD(s) XI to win the title. In reply JD(s) managed to only score 47 runs thereby losing the match.
The tournament was organised with an motto of strengthening the bond between the police department, media, social workers and local youths, the organisers said while also committing of organising more such events in coming days.
Bhatkal Dy.SP Valentine D'Souza inaugurated the event addressing the youngsters, CPI Ganesh, PSI Kusumadhara and others were also present during the tournament.
